To insure your confidence and skill, we require that before you begin your own precious project, we guide and teach you the techniques of using the machine on our charity pieces. Our Rental Certification Class will make you comfortable to tackle your own project with ease and skill.

When you rent time on one of these machines, you will be guaranteed a clean, up to date, well-maintained APQS longarm system, with a new needle, bobbin and top thread of your choice from our supply. 

Rent time on Millie30 – Our Millie30 has all the features of our top-of-the-line Millie machine (see below) PLUS extra inches of throat space! With a deeper throat you’ll be able to complete quilts faster and incorporate even bigger design elements. This timeless, treasured longarm machine will bring you a lifetime of quilting enjoyment.

Quilt Path, APQS’ computerized quilting system, and hydraulic lift are both on our Millie30.

Rental time on Millie30 is $25.00 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. We offer Full Day Rental on Millie30. Rent time on Millie30 with Quilt Path.

Rent time on Millie with Quilt Path – Top of the line APQS machine on a 12’ table which accommodates a king sized quilt. Stitch regulated Millie has an automatic fabric advance, hydraulic lift to accommodate a variety of heights, vertical and horizontal channel locks, and Quilt Glide, a premier feature allowing the experienced quilter to toggle between manual and stitch regulated mode for more precise detail work. Millie has an under the quilt thread cutter.

Millie is the machine you want to rent to do precise horizontal quilting.

Rent time on Lucey with Quilt Path  – Top version of our entry level machines boasting a 26” throat space allowing for less turns and more quilting space. Lucey is housed on a 12’ table which will accommodate a king sized quilt. Lucey is stitch regulated with user controlled stitch length. Lucey is manually advanced and is on hydraulic lifts to accommodate a variety of heights.

Rental time on Lucey is $25.00 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. We offer Full Day Rental on Lucey. Rent time on Lucey with Quilt Path.

Rent time on Lenni with Quilt Path – Lenni has a shorter throat space (22″) for a closer reach. Lenni is available on a 10’ table which accommodates a Queen sized quilt. Lenni is manual advanced.

Rental services, classes, and fee structure

Rentals: Time commences when you arrive and sign in on your selected machine. You will have access to an experienced longarmer for advice. Rental time is measured in 15 minute increments.

Rental Certification Class (REQUIRED FOR RENTALS): $130.00, 3 hours. To insure your confidence and skill, we require that before you begin your own precious project, we guide and teach you the techniques of using the machine on our charity pieces. Valet Service:  Do you want to save time and have your quilt ready to go when you walk in the door? We will pin your quilt to your zippers and have it ready to go at your appointment time. Please be sure to drop off your quilt and backing two business days prior to your appointment. $40 one–time-charge
