The Japanese use a triangular shaped bag to carry their shopping home from the store. In this 3 hour class, you can learn to construct the bag and then, to make it particularly stunning, we will teach you how to decorate it in the Japanese method of decorative stitching called Sashiko.

You provide any fabric and we will supply the rest. Once you have made one, you will want to make others for your friends. They make great gifts and picnic “baskets” as well. Class is 3 hours and the price is $75. Book now.

Our instructors are Rita Mroczek and Irene Roderick.
