Take the fear out of creating a collage in this two day retreat! Collage is like coloring with fabric. You will work through the process of fabric selection, working with the fusible, Steam A, Seam II, building your design and finishing your masterpiece . You will have the choice of patterns or learn to make your own! This is a fun, creative retreat. 

The retreat is two days, at Studio 110, right next to our main Studio. Two students minimum and 6 students maximum. Price is $150 for the two day retreat. Please bring your lunch.

Pat Romohr

Our instructor is Pat Romohr. Pat has taught adult and kid classes through several Bernina quilt shops for over 25 years. She is an active member of the Austin Modern Quilt Guild (AMQG) and Austin Area Quilt Guild (AAQG). In addition to teaching, Pat has her Sewing Palace where she teaches quilting, sewing and knitting classes. Pat loves to teach groups of children or adults, as well as one on one!

Supply list: Pattern will be provided. You have a choice of patterns.
♦ 1 Yard Pattern Ease, Pellon Easy Pattern 830, or voile for your foundation.
♦ 2 1/2 Yards Steam A Steam 2 or Steam A Seam Lite  
♦ Fine point black Sharpie pen
♦ Rotary cutter
♦ Small mat
♦ Appliqué pressing sheet
♦ Scissors – If cutting motifs, small scissors come in handy
♦ *** Paper scissors
♦ Pen or Pencil
♦ Couple of pages of blank white copy paper 
♦ Fabric Fuse Glue Background fabric
♦ ***Optional: Kay Buckley Perfect Scissors
♦ And of course FABRIC: Types of fabrics large and small florals, paisley, leaves, batiks, leaves, solids, etc. The more variety the better! You can bring scraps, fat quarters, or charm packs!
♦ No sewing machine is required for this class.
