Come make long strips of fabric and turn them into kaleidoscopic quilts full of movement and color! It’s a 2 1/2-day workshop. There will be a break for lunch each day. Please bring your lunch.
Class is at Studio 110, next door to our main Studio.
Your instructor is Irene Roderick. At QuiltCon 2020 Irene won first place in the Improvisation Category for her “Line Drawing Landscape”. The price is $250.

Supplies::
– Sewing machine and all stuff that goes with sewing: scissors, cutting wheel, cutting mat, marking pens/chalk, pins for pinning pieces together and for putting onto design wall
-Spray Starch
– Quilting rulers: 10” square (for cutting triangles) and 4″ x 14″-18” or 6.5″ x 24” (for cutting strips from yardage).
– A 48″x 52″x 1/2″ design board. We can provide the design board for your studio use (not to take home) for an additional $25.00. Please let us know if you need one so we can have it prepared for you.
– Fabric:
¼ to ½ yards of 12 different fabrics (minimum – bring lots of colors) selvage to selvage (we will be cutting WOF strips):
— 3 very light (neutral grays or beiges or white or really pale pastels)
— 3 or more medium lights (pastels)
— 3 or more medium (brights)
— 3 dark (dark brown or black or dark maroon or navy etc.)
