Learn to make an even better t-shirt quilt. In this class, you’ll learn the “random” design, and techniques to use as many parts and logos of a t-shirt as possible. The parts and logos will be combined in an irregular, yet pleasing, configuration.

Class is 3 hours in Studio 110, right next door to our main Studio. Class is either:
– December 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM,
– January 27, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, or
– February 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This class assumes a basic knowledge of t-shirt quilt construction. Our “Beginning T-Shirt Quilt Construction” class will give you that knowledge, but that introductory class is not a pre-req; just a way to learn the basics of t-shirt quilts.

Our instructor is Laura Holst. Laura is one of the prime t-Shirt quilt creators at Over The Top Quilting Studio. She first learned to sew with her grandmother and aunt while living in Minnesota. Laura closed her home childcare business in 2018 and has been quilting daily. She was a Girl Scout Leader and Trainer for many years. She loves sharing knowledge with children and adults.  Laura’s pride and joy is her family.

Supplies:
♦ Sewing machine or you can use one of ours for $10 for the entire class.
♦ 12.5″ x 12.5″ cutting square (we have them for sale)
♦ Rotary cutter (we have them for sale)
♦ 5 t-shirts of your choosing, with multiple images if possible. Do not bring T-shirts that you will use in a future quilt.
