Hunter’s Star

Beginner Quilt Class using a Simplified Hunter’s Star: Learn how to construct a traditional, two color Hunter’s Star – but do it simply. This class follows a pattern utilizing half square triangles and creates a twin size star. The class is 4 evening sessions of 2 1/2 hours each, starting at 6:00 PM on Thursdays March 24th and 31st and April 7th and 14th. Supplies and preparation are required. (See below)

Hunter’s Star is a traditional star and arrow quilt pattern, constructed using basic four patch and half square triangle blocks. This star is the perfect pattern for a new quilter.

Students will need:
♦ their own sewing machine,
♦ fabrics
♦ travel iron – if you have one,
♦ notions (e.g. marking pencil, cutter, mat), and
♦ a Hunter’s Star pattern (you can buy your pattern at our Studio).
