Our indigo dyeing class is a hands-on workshop. You will learn the history of indigo dyeing, the fundamentals of creating a dye vat, and the basics of both stitched shibori and shibori-inspired folded and clamped techniques so you can create beautiful patterns on fabric with indigo dye. This is a beginner level class. By the end of class, we will finish the dye process and you will have at least two fat quarter-sized pieces of stunning fabric to take home.
